From the plane ride 9/8/13

I’m bored sitting on this 5 hour flight sandwiched between a somewhat large woman and closed in by an obese man 🙁 Outside of my window is mainly taken up by a good chunk of the end of the wing and I can see just barely what environment is out there looks like. From what I can get a glimpse of we are high enough to where the clouds kind of resemble snow like if we were going over the Artic or something. It’s kinda nice too because I haven’t seen snow in a long time. But at the same time, I was kind of hoping I would have a clear view because I wanted to take pictures of the plane going over the water and some of the islands we’ll pass. I won’t get this opportunity again because I leave Hawaii at night and by the time it’s daylight I’ll be back in Phoenix. Lame. Anyways, so far getting here from Dallas to right now has been long and tiring. I woke up a little early so I could work out but I didn’t really get much in since I was worried about not giving myself enough time to finish packing up my room and getting myself ready. I went to bed around 1 something because I was finishing up my homework and also because I couldn’t really sleep. Everytime I take a trip somewhere and this is the times when I have gone alone, my biggest fear is me missing my flight. I have come very close to missing it once and only once and the last thing I want is to be waiting around hours later as a standby like how they do on Airline lol. No thanks. And not that my tickets were that expensive but I’m already getting in late in the evening, heaven forbid if I had missed my flight and had to wait around, then I really wouldn’t have gotten there until probably after 10. I know I’m already missing half of Sunday but I at least wanted to walk by the beach and be able to get something to eat. I’m trying to think of some other stuff to write about because I’m just so bored. It’s an obvious one that there isn’t any wifi on the plane even though when I bought my tickets it said there was wifi. The movie they’re playing didn’t really catch my attention. I didn’t mind seeing it but I know Rob wanted to see it….so if I’m going to go see that movie I would might as well wait until me and him could watch it together.

I really, really hate feeling like I’m mushed in this seat. I can’t really shuffle too well because then I end up hitting this woman’s arm. I mean, she isn’t obese or anything but she is large…..ughhh oh boy I guess this is better than sitting next to the man that is obese. I have no problem what so ever other than the abilitiy to move around. I’m gonna have to go pee soon and it’s going to be a ridiculous challenge getting out of my seat and coming back. Dang it….I thought sitting near the window would be cool this time. Let’s see. I got my homework finished late Saturday night…well it was 1 am Sunday but still. I finished up my two useless message board pots that contributed to absolutely nothing but made sure to just barely make over 100 words. I’m pretty sure that the minimum for this class is 150 but I’ve just been doing a few over 100 to 130 and I haven’t been marked down yet. Today would start week 6 and I’m sure I have a PowerPoint somewhere in there this week that I’ll need to do. I was really going to try and work on this week’s assignments early so I could enjoy myself but for this class the assignments aren’t available ahead of time like my last few classes were. I would’ve checked to see if they were available when I was on my overlay but didn’t really get the chance to since I was trying to scavange for a fast food restaurant. And speaking of that, I was pissed to spend $13 on a salad and tea. Which was why I was looking for a fast food joint…..knowing I wouldn’t spend that much on a damn burger let alone one of their salads. And the salad was disgusting. I’ll try anything organic and have no problems with it….I don’t know….maybe it was because I was super hungry and was eating it fast but the salad tasted like puke. I wasn’t familiar with the crumbled cheese that was on it….I can’t even remember the name of it but the dressing was of the same type and it just made the salad even nastier. I ate almost all of it because I was starving. It was also a quick pick because I had to get back to my gate. I would’ve gotten a sandwhich, but I was tempted to get it warm and that would’ve taken 5 minutes and I only had 10 to spare lol. Ugh. This is turning into a complainy blog lol. I’ve been trying to promise not to do that anymore but today I need it. Anyway, puke salad was puke, I still have to pee and I’m next to large people who’ll make me getting out hard as hell, I’m near the wing on the plane and can’t see the pretty water, I’m on my puuuriod (gross) but it’s ending and I should be able to swim by tomorrow. I’m still hungry, I still have to pee, but oh! Gayla should be there already waiting on me! It’ll be awesome. We’ll probably troll Waikiki beach after we get settled into our room then head off to a restaurant later one while we plan out how we’ll be getting to Hickam tomorrow and the other things we’ll be doing throughout the week. I am looking forward to going to Kailua and Lanikai, those pretty beaches look like how they do straight out of a cruise commercial or a photography magazine. It’s pretty exciting that I’ll be going back to a pretty beach. Miami beach was super nice and I’m sure the beaches in Hawaii will be just as awesome, if not better. Yay. And watch MY WEEK FLY BY. It’s like I’ve anticipated this trip for so long and it’s going to fly in seconds. Ugh. I guess my goal should be to pass promotion next year so I can get stationed at a nice little paradise and then I’ll be able to enjoy it longer 🙂
Ok…I can’t hold my pee anymore. Fat people shuffling awaits me.
